Salvation Army Kemptville celebrates $73,000 raised through local campaigns

As another holiday season wraps up, The Kemptville Salvation Army want to thank the community for its overwhelming generosity. Kettle Coordinator Charly Stewart noted RBC Kemptville took a day to ring the bells at Independent, The Kemptville 73s manned the kettles and helped the food bank as well. All the churches in North Grenville had individuals ringing throughout the campaign. The Salvation Army is grateful to everyone who volunteered their time and efforts. The goal of raising $60,000 locally was deemed a bit steep, even by some of the organizers. In the end, over $72,000 was raised for this year’s Salvation Army Christmas campaign in Kemptville.
