The Kemptville District Minor Hockey Association (KDMHA) announced on Thursday evening that the remainder of it’s hockey season was ending.

The announcement comes after consultation with the municipality and the Leeds, Grenville and, Lanark District Health Unit.

In the media release, it was added that the reason for the end of season was “changing conditions in the community no longer allow for the safe continuation of hockey”.

KDMHA Executives are still exploring options for potential refunds for their members and players, or possibly adding credits for players next year.

All players/parents affected by the credit or refund will be contacted by the executives by March 31st.
