Kemptville Public School has received a $10,000 grant on December 15th to provide equipment and activities to keep students active and healthy. Thanks to the RBC “Learn to Play Project”, the funds will help support the school’s IGNITE physical literacy initiative, purchasing soccer balls, a field hockey set, a hopscotch rug and other fun items for the school to use in its regular phys. ed. class and Quality Daily Physical Education program. The RBC Learn to Play grant continues RBC’s commitment to Canada’s youth through its five-year, $100 million ‘Kids Pledge’ program. Learn to Play is run in partnership with ParticipACTION.
