You can celebrate Canada Day while listening to 97.5 Juice FM.

On Wednesday, a special from 9:00am to 9:00pm will be happening on the radio station that will feature messages from local dignitaries, interviews with photographers, quilters, pottery throwing, and local authors. There will also be music from local musicians throughout the day.

In partnership with the Kemptville & District Community Associates (KDCA) and the Municipality of North Grenville, there is also a colouring contest happening. The colouring pages can be found here and be submitted to kemptvilledistrictca@gmail.com, on the KDCA’s Facebook, or drop them in the box at local grocery stores. The deadline for submissions is tomorrow (June 30) at noon.

There is also a home and business decorating contest. Samantha Rivet-Stevenson says they would love to see North Grenville decked out in red and white this year. Pictures with the name and phone number can be submitted on the Canada Day in North Grenville Facebook page or email kemptvilledistrictca@gmail.com. Submissions must be in by tomorrow at noon.

The GooseChase scavenger hunt begins at 10:00am on Wednesday morning. People can participate by downloading the GooseChase app and using the game code QMG1ZG.

Prizes will be given out throughout the day for the scavenger hunt and the other contests.
