Early morning fire causes damage, but no injuries

North Grenville Fire Crews were busy battling an early morning blaze
The residential fire on Townline Road was alerted to authorities just before 3AM on the morning of May 22nd.
Upon arrival heavy flames were visible, and the request was made for assistance from Edwardsburgh Cardinal fire department’s water tankers
In a statement, Fire Chief John Okum says:
“The structure sustained considerable damage and the residents have been displaced. Police notified victim services who responded to the scene and are providing temporary emergency assistance to the displaced residents”
The two owners of the house, and their 2 dogs, escaped the blaze unharmed.
The investigation into the cause of the fire is still ongoing.
