The Kemptville and District Sports Hall of Fame cancelled their Annual Golf Tournament and Induction Ceremony this year.
The event has been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a media release sent out yesterday.
Heather Burns, Kemptville and District Sports Hall of Fame Committee Chair, says they thank local businesses who have provided support to the Golf Tournament and fundraiser in past years.
“We understand it is a challenging time and want to offer our support as best we can.”
Nominations for the Kemptville Sports Hall of Fame will continue to be accepted for induction in 2021 and submissions for the quarterly sports bursary program will also be accepted right now.
