Ontario extends province wide State of Emergency

Premier Doug Ford is extending the province’s COVID-19 State of Emergency another two weeks.

The order was first issued on March 17th and would have expired tomorrow, March 31st.

Ford says the state of emergency will be evaluated every two weeks.

He says he was discouraged to see people crowding streets this weekend and urged everyone to stay at home to protect the most vulnerable in Ontario.
