Tim Hortons donates $500 in gift cards to frontline staff at Kemptville Hospital

When things fall apart, the community pulls together.

Frontline staff at the Kemptville District Hospital (KDH) got a helping hand from a local business.

Ingrid Kohling and Jose Salvador, owners of the two Tim Hortons in Kemptville, reached out to the hospital offering up food and coffee for staff.

Due to the strict regulations currently in place, the hospital can’t accept food from outside sources.

Kohling and Salvador decided to donate $500 worth of gift cards instead.

“I can only imagine what it must be like for the staff at the hospital working under such pressure,” noted Kohling. “I wanted to let them know that they’re not alone and we as a community are thinking of them and thank them for being there for all of us.”

The KDH Foundation says it’s grateful to Kohling and Salvador for their support and also to the staff who are working every day through this crisis to keep everyone safe and healthy.
