Gary Dyke will stay on as the CAO for the Municipality of North Grenville. The announcement was made yesterday.
Dyke was named the interim CAO in December. His appointment followed the sudden departure of former CAO Brian Carré at the end of October last year.
Dyke brings over 25 years of experience to the table, according to a press release sent out by the municipality.
Mayor Nancy Peckford says council has worked very closely with Dyke over the past few months. She noted that the depth of his skillset and values align very well with what council believes the community needs. Peckford explained Dyke’s experience working in larger municipalities makes him well suited to meet the demands of a high growth municipality like North Grenville.
