Youth charged after brandishing edged weapon at school

A 14-year-old from South Dundas is facing charges following a disturbance on Tuesday. 

OPP officers were called out to Seaway District High School in Iroquois at 8:18am. 

Investigation showed that the youth entered the school, displaying an edged weapon towards the victim and uttered threats. The accused then left the school and was later located and arrested by police. 

The youth is charged with causing a disturbance, uttering threats, possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose and forcible entry.
