Over 300 toys collected for local kids and counting

Royal LePage has been busy collecting toys for families in need. The annual Mountain of Toys drive wraps up on Friday.

Over 300 toys have been collected to date, according to organizer Judy Littau. She noted all the toys will be distributed locally, through the Kemptville Salvation Army and North Grenville Community Service Council.

Littau says the launch at the Kemptville 73’s game on November 22 brought in 140 gifts, including toys donated by the hockey players. Toys were also collected at the Santa Claus Parade and annual Christmas BBQ.

Littau explained toys are still being accepted at the Royal LePage office, located at 304 Colonnade Drive. She noted the toy drive wouldn’t be possible without community support.
