Kemptville Santa Claus Parade coming to town in November

The Kemptville Santa Claus Parade will be happening on November 23rd.

The parade begins at five that night leaving from the Kemptville College campus. It’s organized by the Kemptville Kinsmen for the past 46 years. Organizer Terry Shephard says the theme is Winter Wonderland this year and registration for floats is currently open. The goal is to get 100 floats/participants this year.

Before the parade kids can meet Santa Claus at the North Pole (North Grenville Public Library) from two to four in the afternoon.

The parade will go on concession road then turn left on Prescott Street and then left on Clothier street and then right on Pine Hill Road where it will end. The parade will not end at Holy Cross.

Firefighters will be out doing a boot drive and the money will be going to local charities. The Rotary Club of Kemptville will be doing a food drive and there will be a toy drive and items can be donated to the Mountain of Toys float.

People can email [email protected] to register.
