Voters head to polls Monday

People across Leeds-Grenville-Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes head to the polls on Monday. A total of 54 polling sites will open from 9:30am to 9:30pm. The riding has approximately 84,302 registered voters.

People can check their voter information cards to find out where to vote. If you haven’t received your card, contact Elections Canada by calling 1-800-463-6868 to find your polling station.

People need to bring a piece of photo ID issued by the government with your name and address, such as a driver’s licence. If you do not have a driver’s licence, you can use two pieces of ID – one with your name and one with your address (ie. Health Card and Hydro bill).

Advance polls saw a record breaking 4.7 million people cast ballots this year.
