An important announcement regarding County Road 43 is happening tomorrow. MPP Steve Clark’s office sent out a media advisory moments ago. Clark will join MP Michael Barrett, United Counties of Leeds and Grenville (UCLG) Warden Pat Sayeau and Mayor Nancy Peckford for the announcement. It is set for 10:30am at the North Grenville Municipal Centre.
The UCLG and North Grenville submitted a joint funding application, totalling $10 million, to expand 43 into a four-lane roadway. The project will cost around $25 million and requires provincial and federal dollars to move forward.
