Tuesday the North Grenville Knights senior girls travelled to TISS to take on the Pirates. The girls played outstanding defense to roll to a 48-41 victory which was not as close as the score indicated. NG pulled ahead by 20 and ran the bench in the last 4 minutes. Once again the Knights were led in scoring by Emma Kiesekamp. Despite being slowed by a knee injury Darien Wrona completely controlled the game while Corinne Nussey also chipped in with 10 points. This leaves the Knights with a 6 – 1 LGSSAA record with their only loss being a close game at Rideau. They will host BCI next Tuesday at 2pm in semi finals.
