Journal sales to benefit Victim Services

Victim Services Leeds and Grenville (VSLG) is trying something new to bring in dollars. The organization is selling journals to generate revenue for programs.

Executive Director Sonya Jodoin says it took a village to make it happen. She says everything about the journals has been donated, including the cover photography and courage stories found on the first page. Jodoin says there are 10 designs available.

The cost is $20 each, with proceeds going to programs like the Mobile Tracking System.

Jodoin says the GPS trackers are part of a larger, pretty intensive safety planning program for victims of domestic abuse and sexual assault. She says the devices keep people safe in situations ranging from stalking to harassment.

Journals are available at Flowers Brockville, Beauty Inside Wellness Spa, Crazy Bowls, Saltastic and Compassionate Care for Stressful Times. For more information about VSLG, click here.
