Youths now have until Midnight on Wednesday to submit a film for a chance to win $1,000.
The MyView Film Festival contest is open to all youths between the ages of 10 and 24 in Eastern Ontario. A $1,000 grand prize, sponsored by McGahey Insurance and Grenville Mutual, is up for grabs.
Videos can feature something in the community, a solution to a problem or an opinion. North Grenville Mayor Nancy Peckford is one of the confirmed judges for this year’s festival. Judging criteria favours the content over production elements.
The Red Carpet Awards Ceremony has been set for Thursday June sixth at the Brockville Arts Centre.
