The Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario handed out Bravo Breakfast Awards. The ceremony took place at St. Mary Catholic High School in Brockville yesterday. The award is presented to one student from each elementary and secondary school annually, in recognition of living out the board’s theme ‘Be Holy – Joy Springs from a Loving Heart.’
Trustee Brent Laton says it’s a way to applaud the achievements, perseverance and successes of young people.
Director of Education John Cameron thanked the students for their acts of service.
Local winners include Anaya Crawford (Holy Cross Catholic School), Morghan McCormick (St. Michael Catholic High School – Elementary) and Bianca Lefebvre (St. Michael Catholic High School – Secondary).
