The Kemptville Sea Cadets and Navy League are hosting a fundraising event. Magic With An Edge is set for Saturday at the Royal Canadian Legion. The event includes a spaghetti dinner and silent auction. Tickets are $25 for adults and $20 for kids under 10. Family packages are available at a discounted rate.
President Peter Milsom says the money raised will go towards programming for the Sea Cadets and Navy League. He says National Defense covers some costs for the cadets, but the cores have to raise dollars for activities.
Only 140 tickets are up for grabs. People can call April at 613-620-0333 for tickets.
Milsom says the whole cadet program is based largely on a relationship with the community.
