Precision Cheer & Dance invites the public to a showcase. The event is set for Friday at St. John’s United Church, beginning at 7:00pm. Admission is free and donations will be accepted for Jumpstart, which provides funding for local kids to participate in sports.
Owner Alyscha Taylor says it’s a great way to prepare the dancers for competitions.
The event also includes a bake sale, with all proceeds going to the cause. A total of 25 dancers are set to perform a variety of styles, ranging from ballet to hip hop.
Taylor says Jumpstart benefits a lot of kids in the community.
