Charges were laid following a theft from a liquor retailer in Spencerville. OPP officers located the stolen property on Sunday evening during a traffic stop.
The vehicle was stopped by police on the 401 in Leeds and the Thousand Islands Township. Â Â
Four people – three from Hamilton and one from Niagara Falls – were arrested. They are charged with numerous multi-jurisdictional theft related offences. Â Â
Two of the accused appeared in Brockville Court yesterday, while the other two were released on a promise to appear in court at a later date.
