Ontario is likely to see a seven cent hike at the pumps

That’s the message from www.GasBuddy.com Analyst Dan McTeague, who’s predicting a sudden spike in Ontario’s gas prices. “It really doesn’t matter where you are across most of Ontario,” says McTeague. “Refiners are passing on a 6.2 cent a litre increase, along with HST at 13 per cent, they work it out and round it off to about 7 cents a litre effective midnight tonight.” He says for the first time in decades, Ontario was enjoying a brief period of offering the lowest gas prices in Canada.
