Commutes on the 401 will be longer than usual because of a pipeline protest.
A handful of cars has been travelling west on the 401 at 50 to 60 kilometres an hour in both lanes.
Particiant Brandano Bigtree says it’s in solidarity with the protest against pipeline issues out west, supporting the Wet’suwet’en people.
This comes after an agreement to let coastal gaslink workers begin do pre-construction work on native territory, despite being opposed to the project.
