Kettle Campaign brings in $88,785 for Salvation Army

The local Kettle Campaign surpassed its $80,000 goal. The Kemptville Salvation Army raised $88,785 through the campaign this year. Every dollar is used to provide services locally.

Kettle Campaign Coordinator Lynn Dolliver says it was a community effort. She says people were very generous this year.

This marks the most successful year for the Kettle Campaign in Kemptville. Approximately 160 volunteers made it possible.

Dolliver says student volunteers were a big asset this year. She says local youth filled in the 4:00 to 6:00pm shift after school.

The campaign launched in November and wrapped up on December 24.
