Grade one students are taking part in a gingerbread house decorating contest run by CIBC in Kemptville. The bank provided all the materials to kids at South Branch Elementary School and Holy Cross Catholic School.
People are being asked to stop by the bank to vote for their favourite creations.
Organizer Melissa Button says the winning class from each school will be treated to a pizza party.
Voting wraps up Friday and the pizza parties will take place in the New Year.

Button says the contest is going well. She says it won’t be the last time CIBC does something like this.
Everyone in the community is welcome to participate in the voting.
