The House of Lazarus (HOL) got a boost from Hydro One Winchester employees. About 18 co-workers came together to make Christmas a little warmer for food bank clients this year.
The group raised $630 for the organization. The donation was dropped off on December 10.
The money will go towards Heat for the Holidays. The HOL delivers a month’s supply of Eco-Energy Logs to food bank clients, in partnership with Community Food Share and Winchester BMR.
Wood will be delivered to 22 families and individuals starting today. The HOL Food Bank serves clients from North Grenville, South Grenville, North Dundas and South Dundas.
