Volunteers needed for final week of Kettle Campaign

The Salvation Army needs volunteers for the final week of the Kettle Campaign. Every dollar raised through the campaign, which wraps up on Christmas Eve, stays local.

There are six kettle locations in Kemptville. Shifts are two hours each and run from 10:00am to 8:00pm every day except Sundays.

Campaign Coordinator Lynn Dolliver says it would be great to have 10 to 15 new volunteers for the final push. She says new faces would give some relief to the volunteers who have been manning kettles every day since the campaign launched in November.

To volunteer, contact Dolliver directly by calling 613-258-1638 or emailing [email protected].

Dolliver says the campaign is going well so far. She says it’s thanks to the volunteers that the campaign has reached 75 per cent of its goal.
