Royal LePage collects hundreds of toys and counting for local kids

Hundreds of toys have been collected for the Salvation Army and North Grenville Community Service Council (NGCSC). Royal LePage launched the toy drive last month.

Organizer Judy Littau says it’s been a banner year for the toy drive. She says they’re all great gifts and people have been very generous.

The Santa Claus Parade brought in about 100 toys. The Kemptville 73’s game on November 30 brought in around 130 toys. Gifts were also collected at the OPP Christmas Charity Barbecue last week.

Ashley Rose, of Rose Automotive, dropped off about 50 toys and 10 bags of food yesterday.

Littau says the Salvation Army and NGCSC are still in need of gift cards for older kids.

Royal LePage will continue to accept donations until early next week. Items can be dropped off at Royal LePage anytime during business hours.
