More than $13,600 was raised for the Salvation Army during last week’s Juice FM Radiothon.
Morning show host Jonny Parks, along with a team of Juice FM employees and volunteers from the Salvation Army, manned the phones and spoke to community members about the importance of the organization Friday. The event ran from 6:00am to 6:00pm taking in pledges for the Sally Ann.
The total was about $2,000 more than what had been brought in last year for the same organization.
