97.5 Juice FM is hosting a Radiothon in support of the Kemptville Salvation Army. The event runs from 6:00am to 6:00pm tomorrow. Every dollar will go to the charity.
Director Calvin Wong says the number of people accessing the food bank is growing. He says the Salvation Army serves about 60 families each week.
The Radiothon brought in over $11,000 last year. People can donate by dropping by the station at 4 Industrial Road, Unit 3 or by calling 613-258-0467.
Wong says if you can spare some cash, stop by or call the radio station to help out your neighbours in North Grenville. He says poverty in the community is hidden but it’s out there.
