Santa’s Helper Fundraising Dance to bring in dollars for United Way

Kemptville & District Home Support Inc. (KDHSI) and North Grenville Accessible Transportation (NGAT) are working together to bring in dollars for the United Way. The Santa’s Helper Fundraising Dance is set for Saturday. It runs from 2:00 to 5:00pm at the Royal Canadian Legion in Kemptville.

KDHSI Executive Director Susan Smith says the United Way gives the organization $20,000 every year to support programming.

Tickets for the dance are $15 each. They are available at the door or at KDHSI. Live entertainment will be provided by the Muddy Boot Minstrels out of Merrickville.

Smith says about 650 local seniors access services at the KDHSI. She says there are also about 140 volunteers and the organization is always looking for more.

For more information about the dance or volunteer opportunities, contact the KDHSI directly by calling 613-258-3203.
