Driver with cannabis, open alcohol stopped by OPP
A man is facing charges after being stopped at a RIDE (Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere) check. The incident happened on Friday night in Elizabethtown-Kitley.
Officers conducted a RIDE check at the intersection of County Road 2 and Sharpes Lane. A 28-year-old man from Elizabethtown-Kitley was arrested and charged with driving while impaired.
He is also faces charges under the Cannabis Act for having marijuana readily available and the Liquor Licence Act for having open alcohol.
The man is set to appear at Brockville Court on December 21.
