The Rideau Valley Conservation Authority is on rain watch as flood waters continue to rise. Weather forecasts indicate that we should expect rainfall amounts of 30 mm, or more, between now and Tuesday, April 15 as a weather system from the U.S. Midwest moves across the Province. The Rideau River and the Kemptville Creek have spilled over their banks in many locations. Residents in flood vulnerable areas should take whatever precautions are reasonable and practical, in their particular circumstances, to minimize property damages and public safety risks.
