People are being asked to wear high visibility clothing if they use the Ferguson Forest Centre (FFC) next week. Bow hunting season kicks off November 12 and runs until November 17.
Small game hunting, for birds, is also underway in certain areas close to the FFC. People may hear shotgun blasts usually 30 minutes before sunrise and 30 minutes after sunset from now until December.
Forest users should wear fluorescent orange vests during hunting season.
