Tweed Founder, Le Boat President speaking at Economic Development Summit

The keynote speakers have been selected for the Economic Development Summit.

Bruce Linton has been announced as one of the speakers. He is the Founder, Chair and Co-CEO of Canopy Growth Corporation and Co-Founder of Tweed Marijuana Incorporated. The other keynote speaker is Cheryl Brown. She is the President and Managing Director of Le Boat.

The summit will be on Friday, November 16, at the North Grenville Municipal Centre, from 9:00am to 3:00pm. Ann Weir is the Economic Development Manager for the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville. She says one speaker will be in the morning and the other will be in the afternoon. Weir explains this is an opportunity for all 13 municipalities and neighbours to come together.

“It’s open to members of the public. Anyone can attend. Small, medium and large businesses (are welcome). We have many of our Mayors and community Councillors that also attend.”
