Three people facing charges after routine traffic stop

Grenville County OPP laid charges against three people during a routine traffic stop. Officers were conducting a RIDE check on the 401 off ramp at Prescott on October 16. One of the vehicles had occupants in contravention of numerous criminal offences. The driver and two passengers were arrested.

A 31-year-old North Grenville man was charged with possession of marijuana over 30 grams, two counts of possession of a prohibited device, obstructing a peace officer and possession of a firearm or ammunition.

A 39-year-old South Dundas man was charged with possession of a prohibited device, possession of marijuana over 30 grams, failing to comply with an undertaking.

A 19-year-old South Dundas female was charged with possession of a firearm or ammunition and possession of methamphetamine.
