The Beth Donovan Hospice (BDH) is opening up its doors to the community. The hospice is hosting an open house on October 11.
The event kicks off at 4:30pm and runs until 6:30pm. A ribbon cutting is set for 5:00pm to celebrate the recently completed backyard, accessible ramp, memorial walkway and accessible gazebo. Executive Director Debbie Watt says the event will also provide an opportunity to showcase hospice programs and services.
People can get a tour of the facility and speak with hospice staff and volunteers. If people are interested in attending, contact the hospice directly by calling 613-258-9611 ext. 2.
Watt says the hospice is selling bricks along the memorial walkway to bring in dollars. She says people can buy a brick in honour or memory of a loved one.
