Over 2,000 people are expected to attend the 26th annual Merrickville Antique and Artisan Show. The event runs Saturday and Sunday at the Merrickville Fairgrounds.
The show will feature over 75 dealers and vendors from across Ontario and Quebec. Organizer Doug Stroud says the idea behind the event is to promote tourism and generate activity in the village.
Admission is $7 and children under 12 are free. Stroud says proceeds from the event will go to the Merrickville Community Association for playground equipment.
Some of the things on display will include collectibles, nostalgia items and antique furniture. Vintage cars will be on site Saturday.
