Municipality offers up dollars to downtown property owners

Property owners in downtown Kemptville can access nearly $30,000 in grant dollars. The second intake for the Community Improvement Plan (CIP) is now open. Matching funds up to $5,000 are available to eligible property owners to improve facade, landscaping or signage.

The grant program is offered through the Municipality of North Grenville. Eligible residences and businesses must be located in the Rideau-Sanders-Prescott triangle. The deadline for applications is September 28.

Full program guidelines are available online by clicking here. Information packages, including the application, can also be picked up at the North Grenville Municipal Centre.

The purpose of the program is to provide financial incentives to stimulate the revitalization of downtown.
