Prize Patrol looking for active kids in local parks, trails

It pays to play. The Prize Patrol will be out visiting local parks and trails looking for kids who are active. Parks and Recreation Director Mark Guy says it’s part of the Healthy Kids Community Challenge Power Off and Play initiative.  

The Prize Patrol will be roaming the area until August 31. Guy says kids will also have the chance to win grand prizes, like a camping kit and family game night sets.  

Ballot boxes can be found at the North Grenville Public Library and the draws will be held at the end of the month. Additional ballots will be handed out to kids who sign out books from the library.
