Krown hits fundraising record with $70,000 for Children’s Wish

Krown Rust Control raised over $70,000 company wide for the Children’s Wish Foundation. The record setting amount was brought in through Wash For A Wish events. Krown Kemptville raised over $1,000 for the cause. Franchise Owner Craig Gerlach says the local car wash fundraiser was a big success.

The car wash was held on June 16. Krown charged $10 for a car wash with all proceeds going to Children’s Wish. Gerlach says people were very generous.

The Children’s Wish Foundation grants wishes to Canadian kids between the ages of 3 and 17 who are diagnosed with a life-threatening illness. In 30 years, the foundation has helped more than 23,000 children and their families.
