Harry Pratt Memorial BBQ brings in $2,000 for hospital

The North Grenville Chamber of Commerce gave $2,000 to the Kemptville District Hospital (KDH) Foundation. The cheque presentation was held today. The money is the proceeds from the Harry Pratt Memorial BBQ, which took place at the end of June. Foundation Executive Director Joanne Mavis says the money will be put to good use.

This was the third year for the Harry Pratt Memorial BBQ, held at the Tallman Truck Centre in Kemptville. Harry Pratt was a community leader and Chamber member who passed away in 2015. Mavis says the Chamber is a great partner for the hospital.

The Foundation is currently running the Harry Pratt Memorial Raffle. The winner will take home $10,000. Tickets are $20 each or three for $50. You can get tickets by clicking here. The draw is set for September 29 at the Foundation’s Casino Night event. The foundation is hoping to raise $50,000 through the raffle.
