Nationview Golf Course is hosting its 8th annual Swing for the Kids Golf Tournament. The event is set for this Saturday with a shotgun start at 12:00 noon. The tournament has brought in over $135,000 for the oncology department at CHEO to date. Organizer Sheila Durant says there are amazing prizes up for grabs.
Over 100 people have signed up for the tournament so far. The goal is to bring in $20,000 for CHEO annually. Durant says cancer is a cause close to her heart.
