The Kemptville District Hospital will benefit from the third annual Harry Pratt Memorial BBQ. The event is set for this Thursday from 11:30am to 2:00pm at the Tallman Truck Centre. The BBQ is put on by the North Grenville Chamber of Commerce. Chamber Executive Assistant Sarah Spear says many partnerships with local businesses have made the BBQ possible.
Grahame’s Bakery also helps out by donating the hamburger buns. Kemptville Insurance provides dessert for the BBQ. The event brought in about $1,200 last year and over $2,700 in 2016. Spear says it’s good to give back to the community.
The cost is $10 for either a hamburger or hot dog meal. Thanks to sponsorship, every dollar raised goes to the hospital. For more information, click here. Â
