Neon Golf Tournament to raise money for childhood cancer research

It’s a hole in one! The third annual Neon Golf Tournament is set for this Saturday at Nationview Golf Course. The tournament is held in support of the Neon Night Fun Run for childhood cancer research. The event brought in $6,300 last year. Chair Brenda Burich says every dollar benefits kids.

Some of the holes will feature games and a special drink from TopShelf Distillers in Perth. The cost is $85, which includes 18 holes and dinner. The fifth annual Neon Night Fun Run is set for September 22 at Riverside Park in Kemptville. The run has brought in over $250,000 to date. Burich says teams were eager to register for the run.
