In an interview on Kingston television, Leeds Grenville MPP Steve Clark said he is fighting to ensure the long-term survival of Kemptville’s agricultural college. Clark mentioned the Task Force and their work to prepare a business plan for the campus. Clark said we need the political backing at Queen’s Park to move some of the great ideas forward.
Clark recently toured campus with interim PC Party leader Jim Wilson. Wilson said he felt the campus infrastructure is in much better shape than he was led to believe and he wants the operation costs forwarded to the appropriate parties so that informed decisions can be made for a successful future for the school. Queen’s Park is open again on October 20th.
