Local seniors are being treated to a free lunch. The third annual Kemptville and District Home Support Seniors’ BBQ/Picnic is set for tomorrow. The event is completely free, through sponsorship from the Kemptville Lions Club and Grenville Mutual Insurance. Executive Director Susan Smith says there will be live entertainment.
Over 120 seniors have registered so far. People are asked to contact home support directly by calling 613-258-3203 to register. Smith says it’s a great event.
The picnic runs from 11:30am to 2:00pm at Maplewood Park in Oxford Mills. The event is held every June in celebration of Seniors Month. For more information about Kemptville and District Home Support, click here.Â
