Names continue to roll in as candidates submit packages for the municipal election. The nomination period opened on May 1 and is set to close July 27 at 1:00pm. Candidates can’t campaign until their papers have been submitted.
North Grenville Mayor David Gordon is making a bid for a third term in office. Jim Bertram has put his name forward for a second term as councillor. Local resident Kristin Strackerjan is hoping to land a seat on council.
Also in the running is Councillor Frank Onasanya, who is seeking re-election, and Deron Johnston.
