The Rotary Club of Kemptville is looking for parade float entries. The Canada Day Parade in Kemptville will be held July 1 beginning at 4:00pm. The parade runs from Kemptville College to Holy Cross Church. Organizer Reinder Kuntz says entries are starting to roll in.
The Kemptville Legion Pipe and Drum Band, along with the Shriners, will also be participating in the parade. There is no cost to enter a float. Kuntz says late entries will be accepted.
Visit kemptvillerotary.ca and email Jo-Anne Bell to enter a float into the parade. Temporary road closures will be effect along Concession, Prescott and Clothier during the parade. The Rotary asks that people mind the barriers on July 1.
