Hey Day is coming to town. The event kicks off this Friday at the North Grenville Curling Club. Hey Day is the biggest annual fundraiser for the Kemptville District Hospital Auxiliary, which supports the hospital with patient care dollars. Organizer Jolene Stover says Hey Day has brought in significant funds.
Donations are being accepted at the curling club today from 3:00pm to 7:00pm and tomorrow from 9:00am to 8:00pm. People can shop for toys, books, clothing, exercise equipment, movies, furniture, small appliances and more at Hey Day. Stover says you can find anything.
Hey Day runs from 6:30pm to 9:30pm on Friday and continues into Saturday, from 9:00am to 1:00pm. People can fill a bag for $3 on Saturday. Stover says the money raised is going towards equipment for the hospital this year.
There will also be a silent auction and 50/50 draw. Volunteers are still needed for the event. If you are able to help out, contact Stover directly by calling 613-558-1761.
